Jeep will launch the Gladiator pick-up on the European market early next year. The announcement came from Jeff Hines, the head of Jeep in the EMEA region.
Presented and launched initially in the US market, the Jeep Gladiator is actually a pick-up version of Wrangler. The engines available on the US market are a 3.6-liter V6 that develops 290 hp and a 3.0-liter diesel that develops around 260 hp and 600 Nm.
The Jeep has not said whether the two engines will be borrowed in Europe and whether Gladiator will benefit from the 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol that Wrangler already has on offer.
